Booking
How do I book a hot tub?
Book online or contact Tubzy directly. We’ll confirm availability and schedule your delivery.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during weekends and holidays.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Contact us before your rental ends, and we’ll extend it if availability allows.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Full refunds are available for cancellations made 4 weeks or more before delivery. Partial refunds may apply based on our cancellation policy.
Delivery & Setup
Does Tubzy deliver and install the hot tub?
Yes. We deliver, position, set up, and test the hot tub. Filling and draining the tub is the renter’s responsibility unless our optional Fill & Drain service is added.
What do I need before delivery?
You’ll need a level surface, a standard 110V outlet, a garden hose, and clear access to the installation area.
How much access space is needed?
Our hot tubs are only 36 inches wide and 80 inches tall when transported and can be rolled into your backyard. We only require a clear 36-inch-wide access path.
How much space is required for the hot tub?
The installation area should be at least 80″ × 80″ on a flat, level surface.
Can the hot tub be placed on grass?
Yes. It can be installed on grass, concrete, patio stones, asphalt, or compacted gravel, provided the surface is level.
Can it be installed on a deck?
Yes, as long as the deck is structurally capable of supporting the weight of a filled hot tub.
Will it fit through my gate?
In most cases, yes. Since our tubs are only 36 inches wide and roll on their side, they fit through most standard backyard gates.
Filling & Draining
Who fills and drains the hot tub?
Filling and draining the hot tub is the renter’s responsibility using their own water supply.
Do you offer a Fill & Drain service?
Yes. We offer an optional Fill & Drain service for an additional *$75*. Water will still be supplied from the renter’s property.
How long does it take to fill the hot tub?
Using a standard garden hose, filling typically takes *1–2 hours*, depending on your home’s water pressure.
Heating
How long does it take to heat?
Typically 24–48 hours, depending on the outdoor temperature.
What is the maximum temperature?
The hot tub heats up to 104°F (40°C).
Should I keep the hot tub plugged in?
Yes. It should remain plugged in throughout your rental.
Water Care
Are the hot tubs cleaned before each rental?
Yes. Every hot tub is professionally cleaned, sanitized, and prepared before delivery.
Do I need to maintain the water?
Yes. Simply check the sanitizer levels every few days using the test strips provided.
What if the water becomes cloudy?
We provide Spa Chemicals and PHS Testing strip in a kit so if the water becomes cloudy please check the ph level and use the chemical to balance it.
Electrical Requirements
What power supply is needed?
Can I use an extension cord?
Only Tubzy-approved heavy-duty extension cords should be used.
What if the breaker trips?
Reset the outlet once. If it continues to trip, contact Tubzy.
During Your Rental
Should I keep the cover on?
Yes. Always keep the cover on when the hot tub isn’t in use.
Can children use the hot tub?
Yes, but only under adult supervision.
Can pets use the hot tub?
No. Pets can damage the hot tub and affect water quality.
Can pregnant women use the hot tub?
Consult your healthcare provider before using the hot tub.
Can I use bubble bath or bath salts?
No. These products can damage the filtration system.
Can I eat or drink in the hot tub?
Yes, but please avoid glass containers.
Can I use the hot tub in winter?
Yes. Tubzy hot tubs are designed for year-round outdoor use.
Can I use the hot tub during rain?
Yes, but never during thunderstorms or lightning.
Rental Information
What's included in my rental?
Delivery, setup, pickup, sanitizer, water testing kit, insulated cover, and customer support.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is required for every rental.
Do you charge hidden fees?
No. All pricing and optional services are clearly explained before booking.
What happens on pickup day?
Kindly drain the water using the pump included in your kit so it’s ready for pickup. If you’d like us to take care of it instead, we can do that for an extra $50.
Safety
How many people can the hot tub hold?
Should I shower before using the hot tub?
Yes. A quick shower helps keep the water cleaner.
How long should I stay in the hot tub?
We recommend sessions of 15–30 minutes at a time.
Can I use the hot tub if I have a medical condition?
Consult your healthcare provider before use.
Is alcohol recommended while using the hot tub?
We recommend avoiding excessive alcohol consumption while using the hot tub.
